Our Audiology team has researched the hearing aid industry and has chosen three well recognized hearing aid manufacturers for our practice: Phonak™, Widex™, and Oticon™. While there are other hearing aid companies to chose from, we feel that these three manufacturers produce high quality products and provide excellent service for our patients in terms of:

Free Hearing Aid Evaluations
We offer free hearing aid evaluations to our patients to discuss the latest advancements in digital hearing aid technology. Our audiologists will be happy to assist you in determining which hearing instruments would offer you the most benefit for your individual hearing loss, lifestyle, and budget.
During your evaluation, a highly trained audiologist will present you with several options tailored to your situation. You will be supplied with a written quote, including the details of our recommendations. Included in the cost of all hearing aids at The Ear Center are:
- a 30 day trial period
- a two-year manufacturer's warranty
- two years of hearing aid appointments at no additional cost.

30 Day Trial Period
We offer a 30 day trial period beginning the day of your fitting. You may wear the aids in your personal environments and may return several times for follow-up programming/adjustments and additional testing to ensure a successful fit. You or your audiologist may choose to change hearing aid sizes or technologies during your trial period if you are not satisfied. Your audiologist will explain to you any difference in cost.
If you wish to return the instruments at the end of the 30 days, a refund check will be mailed to you within two weeks of the return. There are two fees in addition to the cost of the hearing aid(s) that are non-refundable. These include:
- a $250 fitting/orientation fee
- a $10 per ear fee for ear mold impressions.
Ear molds for behind the ear hearing aids are $65 each and are non-refundable because they are single use items.
Our hearing aids include a standard 2-year repair warranty that covers any office and factory repairs, cleaning, and reprogramming for two years. We also have a 1-2 year loss and damage warranty option in which your hearing aid(s) may be replaced if they are lost or damaged beyond repair, once per instrument in the first year with a small deductible fee. Additional warranties may be purchased if desired. Please contact our audiologists for current prices for all hearing aids.
